ANIME IS SEEEEEXXXX - Anime fans around Malaysia are enraged with this article taken from KOSMOS (dated between 8 and 9 January 2006). Strangely enough, amongst these emotional and devastated young people, I am the only person who is completely pleased with the reporter's daring act. As far as I know, anime is known as Japanese animation and it shouldn't be classified as somewhat violent and sexual. Just as you said in your last post, anime produced by Ghibli studios are considered as the proper ones. Still, every cartoonist has a right to define their interpretation of anime. I think what makes anime receiving a bad name not because of the number of cartoons which are produced focused on sex and violence but it's because of the way media potrays it. I don't agree how KOSMOS putting such comments thinking that it is anime alone. Supposedly it is called as Hentai which is focused a lot on sex.

I dont't see the point! Anime is an art, it defines the character of an artist making it. If the work itself portrays sex and violence. Then we all know who is at fault!
